Carlos Laviada Hernández, LIDAX Group CEO
Business leader in the Aerospace Engineering sector.
Specialized in business management by the EOI.
With over 30 years of experience in the space sector, he began his career as a mechanical engineer at INTA, working on space missions such as INTEGRAL. In 2000, he co-founded LIDAX Ingeniería SL, where he held key roles including Commercial Director, Financial Director, and General Manager.
In 2023, he delegated the general management of LIDAX Ingeniería to Stefano Li Bassi and created LIDAX Electro-Optical Systems and LIDAX Group SL, acting as the parent company of the group.
From LIDAX Group, he coordinates the companies’ strategy, assuming their financial function, and consolidating the positioning to lead innovation, group growth, and investment towards new horizons.

Since 2007, he held positions in project management and R&D program management, first in the aeronautical sector and then in the aerospace sector. Since joining LIDAX Ingeniería in 2010, he has held positions as Business Development Manager, R&D Project Manager in several developments with the European Space Agency and the EU, and finally as Commercial Director.
In 2023, he was appointed General Manager of the LIDAX Electro-Optical Systems startup, where he continues to drive innovation projects, in collaboration with R&D centers, to enable the company in electro-optical systems engineering, its development and commercialization of complete systems. With over 18 years of experience, Jesús brings a combination of technical and management skills to achieve the established objectives, with SISTAM being the most important project currently underway in the company.

Stefano Li Bassi is the Managing Director of LIDAX Ingeniería. With over 12 years of experience in the aerospace sector, he has contributed to significant space exploration projects, holding leadership positions at industry leaders such as Thales Alenia Space and Leonardo. Since 2023, he has led LIDAX Ingeniería in its growth and innovation journey. Stefano drives LIDAX Ingeniería’s strategy, aligning it with LIDAX Group’s objectives to provide technological solutions for space exploration and large scientific facilities.
Stefano has a proven track record in scaling up technology companies. His experience in business management, acquired in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments, is fundamental to consolidating the company during this expansion phase. Additionally, he defines LIDAX Ingeniería’s new product policy for the New Space, with a focus on innovation and market needs. The goal is to solidify the company’s position in the aerospace market and achieve sustainable long-term growth. In 2021, Stefano obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from IESE Business School, complementing his education as an Aerospace Engineer, a degree he earned from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 2012. His leadership is based on the firm belief that technology and human capital are the cornerstones of success in the competitive space sector.
Mayte López, General Administrative and Talent Responsible:
Mayte plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company and fostering a talented and dedicated team.
Holding a degree in Chemistry from the University of Alcalá (UAH) and a Master’s in Human Resources Management from the CEF, Mayte brings over 25 years of experience in talent management and general administration to LIDAX.
Previously, she held product control roles at Unilever and Wyeth Farma.
As part of the LIDAX Group team, her solid academic background and extensive experience make her a key asset in talent management and development within the company.
